The Zen Groom housecall grooming. This is a quiet and peaceful groom atmosphere convenient for both you and your pup. It is enrichment based grooming to promote emotional and mental well being during the grooming process. This will build a great experience for successful grooming for the life of your pup. I bring everything to you. You just supply the tub or shower and your pup.

Services
The groom will start with dog calming music. Bathed with face wash, shampoo and conditioner that are best for them. Anal glands done by request. Dried with less noise and ear protection. Brushed and haircut of your choice. Ears cleaned. Teeth brushed and sprayed. Nails clipped and filed. Moisturizing paw balm. Them picture time and lot of cuddles.
It is important that the pets in my care are kept safe and as stress free as possible. I use sharp tools and need to prevent injuries. So I will work with your pet to help keep them comfortable. This may mean something doesn't get done that day.
This is an hourly rate service. It is not based on size of dog, age or add ons. Everything is included.

Dogs have always been a part of my life and have been part of my family. I have had mixes, Cocker Spaniel, Rottweiler, Chow, and Border Collies from 2 months to 16 years old. I currently have 3 Border Collie mixes. If I am not working they are with me and my husband, Shannon, hiking, camping, playing, or kayaking. They even have their own “puppy yacht”.
8 years ago I needed a change. I took a virtual dog groom course and I started grooming with a dog groomer friend volunteering at the Humane Society. I found I had a natural talent with the special needs dogs. I graduated corporate grooming school and worked in a corporate salon for almost 6 years. Realizing there are so many dogs with special needs, seniors, health issues, nervous, anxious, reactive to people or other dogs, car sick, etc I decided to start my own housecall grooming. I am continually furthering my education to make sure I have the most current information and tools needed to help your pup. I am currently getting certified in dog massage and Reiki.
I also volunteer with Big Paws Canine Foundation that helps train service dogs for military and first responders.
